Save the Date for the Quantum Leap Career Nexus (September 12, 2024)

The Quantum Leap Career Nexus (QLCN) is a premier, global networking, recruitment, and mentorship workshop for careers in the quantum industry. We bring quantum organizations together to meet with undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, and early career professionals. We will provide virtual career and skill development workshops for attendees to make sure they get the most value out of the main, in-person career workshop on September 12, 2024 at the University of Maryland.

The growth of quantum information science and technology has created demand for a workforce to serve industry, government, and academia. Our driving principles will be to promote a diverse workforce, engage future leaders across disciplinary boundaries, and bring together local, regional, national, and global organizations for meaningful workforce development interactions to accelerate the quantum enterprise.

This workshop is supported by the Institute of Robust Quantum Simulation (RQS), a five-year National Science Foundation (NSF) grant.

Venue: University of Maryland

Date: September 12, 2024

Time: 9 am to 5 pm

Our Mission

Career Development and Mentorship

Our community focus is the undergraduate, graduate, postdoc, and early career professionals. Through a series of workshops, we will provide them with the skills, tools, and relationships needed to forge a successful career, with the support of their peers and mentors.
