Bio
Elizabeth Bennewitz is a graduate student with Alexey Gorshkov and a Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellow. She is interested in studying the properties of quantum systems that distinguish their efficient classical or quantum simulation. Additionally, she is interested in developing both classical and quantum tools for simulating quantum systems. Before starting her PhD, she received her BA in Physics from Bowdoin College and her MSc in Physics from the Perimeter Institute and the University of Waterloo.
