Bio
Naren Manjunath is a condensed matter theorist working on the theory of topological quantum matter. His work at UMD involved studying crystalline topological phases using field theoretic methods, and proposing schemes to extract the topological invariants associated to these phases from ground state wave functions. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Canada.
