Bio

Victor Galitski is a professor in the Department of Physics and a Fellow of the Joint Quantum Institute at the University of Maryland. His research focuses on fluctuations in superconductors, statistical mechanics of lower dimensions, cold atom systems and quantum phase transitions. Galitski received one doctorate in applied math from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in 1999 and a second in theoretical condensed matter physics from the University of Minnesota in 2002.
