Markus Greiner

Markus Greiner is the George Vasmer Leverett Professor of Physics at Harvard University, where he also serves as co-director of the Harvard-MIT Center for Ultracold Atoms. His research focuses on experiments with ultracold atoms, in which strongly correlated many-body quantum systems can be experimentally realized in a well-controlled way. This opens the door for studying fundamental questions of modern condensed matter and quantum information physics with atomic physics experiments. Grenier received his Ph.D. in experimental physics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany.
